The Baloch Liberation Army’s (BLA) official media channel, “Hakkal,” has released a detailed video of “Operation Dara-e-Bolan,” which took place in the Mach and Bolan regions of Balochistan.
The operation, conducted from January 29 to 31, 2024, reportedly involved over 350 BLA fighters in a strategic offensive against Pakistani security forces. According to the BLA, the operation resulted in 78 casualties among Pakistani security personnel, while the BLA suffered 13 losses, including twelve members from the Majeed Brigade’s fidayeen unit and one from the Fateh Squad.
The hour-long video provides a comprehensive account of the operation, featuring BLA fighters equipped with modern weaponry and undergoing rigorous preparation, including tactical training and map-based planning.
The video includes various combat scenes captured through gun-mounted cameras, drones, and body cameras, illustrating the intensity of attacks on targets such as Pakistani forces’ camps, government infrastructure, a railway station, and police/levies stations. It notably highlights BLA marksmen employing advanced combat techniques and weaponry against stationed Pakistani forces.
An English voiceover provides a narrative of the BLA’s strategic movements and advancements throughout the operation, including securing control of entry and exit routes in Mach town and engagements with Pakistani security force reinforcements attempting to reach Mach.
The video released on the BLA’s official channel ‘Hakkal,’ carries the message: “This is only the beginning. Operation Darra-e-Bolan was only a part of what is coming for Pakistani occupying forces. Till the last occupying personnel on Baloch motherland, BLA will carry out attacks that the enemy has never experienced before.”
In the video’s concluding parts, BLA Majeed Brigade fighters, speaking in Balochi, Brahui, and Urdu, highlight ongoing ‘state atrocities’ in Balochistan and urge the Baloch nation to join their movement and contribute to the national struggle. The video ends with a brief revolutionary poem.
