The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released the names and details of nine fighters it said were killed in separate clashes with Pakistani forces in Balochistan during July.
In details published by its media wing, Hakkal, the BLA said the fighters were killed in Khuzdar, Surab, Turbat and on the outskirts of Quetta between July 10 and July 30.
It identified them as Shoaib Umrani alias Gurk, Abdul Quddos Qambarani alias Sikander, Waheed Ishaque alias Bahot, Mohammad Raheem Langove alias Asfand, Shakir Rehman Sasoli alias Ashraf, Qadeer Baloch alias Saud Dost, Maqsood alias Bebagr, Mir Alam Kiyazai alias Salman and Noor Ahmed Sumalani alias Notak.
The group said Shoaib Umrani and Abdul Quddos Qambarani were killed in Zidi, Khuzdar, on July 10.
It said three others, Waheed Ishaque, Mohammad Raheem Langove and Shakir Rehman Sasoli, were killed during clashes in Naghar, Surab, on July 15.
Qadeer Baloch and Maqsood were killed in Turbat, on July 28, while Mir Alam Kiyazai and Noor Ahmed Sumalani were killed during coordinated attacks on Pakistani military camps in Wali Thangi and Spin Karez, near Quetta, on July 30, according to the statement.
The BLA identified Shoaib Umrani as a 21-year-old resident of Baghbana in Khuzdar who joined the organisation in 2025 and operated on the Kalat and Khuzdar fronts.
It said he completed basic military training and took part in several operations against Pakistani forces.
Abdul Quddos Qambarani, a resident of Mohalla Khel in Kalat, was studying for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences, the group said.
According to the statement, he joined the BLA in August 2025 and operated on the Nagaho, Kalat and Khuzdar fronts after completing military training.
The BLA said he took part in “Operation Herof II” and other attacks as a frontline fighter. It added that he was killed in Zidi while attempting to protect fellow fighters during an operation.
Waheed Ishaque, a resident of Chashma in Zehri tehsil of Khuzdar, joined the BLA in 2024 and moved to the mountain front in July 2025, the statement said.
The organisation said he operated on the Kalat front and was involved in armed operations, highway blockades, operational planning and the management of weapons and supplies.
It said Waheed and other fighters confronted Pakistani forces during an attempted advance in Naghar and forced them to retreat, but he was killed in the subsequent fighting.
Mohammad Raheem Langove, a resident of Kalat, joined the organisation in 2026 and operated on the Kalat front, according to the statement.
The BLA said he completed physical and military training after joining the group.
Shakir Rehman Sasoli, a resident of Killi Dato in Mastung, also joined the organisation in 2026 and was sent to the Kalat front, the statement said.
The group said he completed military training and took part in several operations. It described him as experienced in battlefield coordination and said he was killed after inflicting casualties on Pakistani forces in Naghar.
The BLA also released details of Qadeer Baloch and Maqsood, who it said were killed during an operation in Turbat, on July 28.
Qadeer, a resident of Gomazi in Tump, Kech, used the pen name Saud Sobain as a poet and worked in an auto-parts shop, according to the statement.
The group said he had been involved in the Baloch armed movement since 2013 and formally joined the BLA in August 2023.
It said he remained active on the Kulbar, Mazanband and Zamuran fronts and combined his earlier battlefield experience with newer military methods.
The BLA described Qadeer’s 13-year involvement in the armed movement as a “great revolutionary achievement”.
Maqsood, a resident of Talokan in Tump, joined the BLA in 2023 and operated on the Kulbar front, the statement said.
The organisation said he completed military training, participated in several operations and worked among local residents and young people to promote the group’s political and organisational programme.
It said he was later placed in charge of a patrol unit and was killed during an operation in Turbat that the BLA claimed had dismantled an important Pakistani intelligence network.
The two fighters killed near Quetta on July 30 were identified as Mir Alam Kiyazai and Noor Ahmed Sumalani.
Mir Alam, a 27-year-old resident of Barwary in Quetta, held a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, the BLA said.
According to the statement, he joined the group’s urban network in 2019 and moved to the mountain front in 2023.
The BLA said he helped plan and carry out attacks, performed administrative duties and trained new recruits. He was later appointed a camp commander and given responsibility for fighters and military activities in the area.
Noor Ahmed Sumalani, a resident of Pir Ismail in Narowari, joined the BLA in 2018 and remained active on the Bolan and Quetta fronts, the statement said.
The group said his brother, Mohammad Jan alias Lela, had also been a BLA member and was killed earlier. Noor Ahmed joined the armed movement about a year after his brother’s death, it added.
According to the BLA, Noor Ahmed remained involved in the organisation for about eight years, participating in armed operations and helping expand its manpower and operational capacity.
The group paid tribute to the nine fighters and said their service and sacrifices would remain part of Baloch national history.
