A young man allegedly disappeared after being arrested from the capital city of Balochistan on Monday.

According to reports, Pakistani forces allegedly forcibly disappeared a youth named Abdul Khaliq s/o Ghulam Muhammad Qambrani, from the Sariyab road irrigation colony area of the city.

According to sources, the abductee is a tailor by profession who was detained by the forces on Monday evening from his shop. His whereabouts remain unknown since.

The family of the victim confirmed the incident and appealed to the humanitarian organizations for the safe recovery of their loved one.

The said youth is the nephew of Abdul Ghaffar Qambrani, who is known for his activism against enforced disappearances. Before this, Qambrani’s another family member namely Jameel Sarpara also forcibly disappeared, who hasn’t been yet brought to light.
