The bodies of six men have been recovered from Sui tehsil in Balochistan’s Dera Bugti district, with local sources alleging that they were killed in a staged encounter after being held in custody.
The deceased were identified as Muhammad Khan, son of Yaro; Lalo, son of Taj; Shah Mir, son of Shahal; Waheed, son of Halo Khan, of the Chakrani Bugti tribe; Ghulam Din, son of Kori; and Karam Khan, son of Mazar Khan, of the Masuri Bugti tribe.
The incident comes amid reports of multiple bodies being recovered across Balochistan in recent days. Ten were found in Barkhan on October 10, while six others were recovered from Kalat and Khuzdar.
Among those found in Barkhan was Muhammad Iqbal, son of Nawab Khan, a 28-year-old labourer who had previously been reported as forcibly disappeared.
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) alleged that Military Intelligence personnel took him from outside the Sessions Court in Rakhni on December 26, 2025, and that he was killed in a staged encounter more than nine months later.

Families of missing persons and human rights groups have repeatedly accused Pakistani forces of enforced disappearances, custodial torture and extrajudicial killings in Balochistan, including cases in which people allegedly taken into custody were later found dead.
