The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) on Friday released a video showing its fighters attacking and taking control of two Pakistani military camps in the Kharwari Baba area of Balochistan’s Ziarat district.
The four-minute-and-55-second footage, published by Hakkal, the group’s official media channel, shows armed fighters carrying the Balochistan flag as they advance towards the camps.
The footage shows BLA fighters opening fire on the positions and communicating with one another as different units move towards the camps. Pakistani personnel can also be seen leaving their positions and fleeing after coming under attack.
The fighters are then shown entering the camps, setting property on fire and seizing a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and other military equipment.
The group had earlier said its fighters launched simultaneous attacks on the two camps and established “complete control” after advancing from several directions.
The BLA said nine Pakistani personnel were killed during the attacks on the camps, adding that four others were killed in separate ambushes on military and police reinforcements attempting to reach the area.
