Two women were killed and three others injured after Pakistani forces opened fire on a vehicle near Phul Abad, an area located around 40 kilometres from Tehsil Parom in Panjgur, according to local sources.
Eyewitnesses said the vehicle was carrying several Afghan nationals who were reportedly attempting to travel to Iran. There are also reports that other individuals present at the scene were taken into custody.
The bodies of the two deceased women and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, where the wounded are receiving medical treatment.
Further investigation into the incident is underway.
