The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released photographs an identifies of two of its several suicide attackers, along with a video showing a female fighter participating in attacks during its ongoing “Operation Herof,” according to material published on the group’s official media channel, Hakkal.
In a statement, the BLA said one of the suicide attackers was Siraj Baloch s/o Wahid Bakhsh, a resident of Zamuran, Buleda, who took part in “Operation Herof” in the Pullabad area of Tump, Kech. The group claimed Siraj Baloch joined the BLA in June 2025 and became part of the group’s Majeed Brigade in August 2025. According to the statement, he had remained associated with the organisation as a supporter for approximately three years prior to his formal induction.
The BLA claimed that on January 31, Siraj Baloch carried out a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (IED) attack on what it described as a main army camp in Pullabad, Tump. The statement characterised his involvement as the result of long-term ideological commitment rather than what it called a “spontaneous decision.”
The group also released details of another suicide attacker, identified as Obaid Baloch alias Sanjar Baloch, s/o Parvez, born in 2005 and a resident of Chah Sar, Kech. The BLA claimed he joined the organisation in 2025 and became part of the Majeed Brigade in November the same year.
According to the statement, Obaid Baloch carried out a vehicle-borne IED attack on January 31, 2026, targeting what the group described as a central army camp in the Rodbun area of Tump during “Operation Herof.” The BLA said his actions reflected what it termed “sustained ideological commitment” and awareness of the consequences of his actions in regards to the struggle for the “independence of Balochistan.”
Separately, the BLA released a video from Nushki showing members of its specialized Fateh Squad during “Operation Herof.” The footage shows a woman, identified by the group as Dur Jan Baloch, carrying weapons alongside other armed fighters while attacking Pakistani forces and installations. In the video, the woman addresses the Baloch people in the Brahui language, calling on them to join the armed struggle.
According to the BLA, Dur Jan Baloch is a highly trained fighter who participated in what the group described as “intense fighting” in Noshki over three days. The statement claimed she demonstrated leadership, combat skills, and resilience, and that she survived the clashes and returned safely to areas under the group’s control.
