Security forces killed four militants during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Mastung district on Friday, the military’s media wing said.
According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an exchange of fire took place between Pakistani troops and armed men during the operation.
The ISPR said weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the site, while a search operation in the area was continuing.
ISPR did not disclose the identities of those killed in the operation.
