The citizens of Mangochar and the families of missing persons held a sit-in protest for the safe recovery of Baloch missing persons in the Mangochar area of Balochistan’s Kalat district. During the demonstration, the protestors blocked the Quetta to Karachi highway for traffic, where hundreds of vehicles and thousands of passengers were trapped on both sides.

The protesters were demanding the safe release of missing Shahan Baloch, Naveed Baloch, Muhammad Hassan Langaw, Kifayatullah Nichari, Qazafi Nichari, and other missing persons.

The participants of the sit-in protest said that all our missing loved ones should be recovered and presented before the courts so that we can get rid of this torture and misery.

It should be noted that previously, these families had protested in Mangochar for the recovery of the aforementioned missing persons which they ended after the assurance of the government authorities, but there have not been any developments since.

As of the latest reports, the protesters kept the highway blocked, and no one from the administration authorities reached out for negotiations.
