Cases of enforced disappearance continue to be reported from different parts of Balochistan, with four people allegedly forcibly disappeared and one previously missing person recovered.
According to sources, Pakistani forces reportedly detained and forcibly disappeared Zakir Razzaq, son of Abdul Razzaq and a resident of Haji Shah Ali Village, Sharafi, on 9 September 2026.
Jameel Iqbal, son of Iqbal and a resident of Dasht, Kech, was also allegedly detained and forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces from Mirani Dam on 8 September 2026.
Meanwhile, Riaz Ahmed, son of Panshambey Saleh and a resident of Mand, Kech, was reportedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces from Fazil Chowk, Gwadar, on 15 August 2026.
In a separate case, Gul Zaib, son of Mohammad Azim Lango, was allegedly detained and forcibly disappeared during a raid by Pakistani forces and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on a house in Killi Shabo, Quetta, at around 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday night. The young man reportedly worked as a labourer.
According to local sources, Gul Zaib had previously also been subjected to enforced disappearance.
Meanwhile, Bakhtiyar Ahmed, son of Abdul Salam and a resident of Nushki, who had reportedly been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces on 23 August 2026, was recovered in Quetta on 7 September and returned home.
Authorities have not issued any official statements regarding the alleged disappearance of Gul Zaib or the other reported cases.
