The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released a seven-minute video purporting to show its fighters attacking a Pakistani military convoy at Ziarat Cross and a construction company site in nearby Khani Baba in Pishin earlier this month.
The video, released by Hakkal, the BLA’s media wing, opens with footage of Fateh Squad members wearing the unit’s distinctive uniforms and carrying modern weapons.
It later shows the fighters firing rockets and other heavy weapons at a Pakistani military convoy at Ziarat Cross, followed by scenes of damaged vehicles, bodies and fighters taking weapons and military equipment from the site.
The BLA said four vehicles belonging to the Qila Saifullah Scouts and the Frontier Corps’ 134 Wing were targeted in the September 3 attack. It said two vehicles, including a military truck, were destroyed and claimed that 18 Pakistani military personnel were killed.
The video also includes footage of a construction company site in nearby Khani Baba, where the BLA said its fighters took control of the premises and destroyed 14 heavy machines and vehicles.
The group said company personnel taken into custody during the attack were later released in line with its policy.
