The Taliban attacked forces in three different districts of Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.

According to reports, the Taliban attacked three districts in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar Province, killing 20 and injuring 23.

The Taliban attacked the districts of Hesarak, Khoziano and Sherzado.

It is to mention that intera-Afghan talks have also started in Doha, Qatar, where talks are underway between the Taliban and the Kabul administration for lasting peace in Afghanistan.

On the other hand, the Taliban spokesman in Qatar, Dr. Muhammad Naeem Wardak, in an exclusive interview with TOLOnews, ruled out the possibility of a ceasefire at the beginning of the talks, according to Wardak, a ceasefire will not be reached until other important issues are discussed.

Wardak also said that the Taliban has reduced the level of violence with the start of the preliminary round of the talks. The Afghan government has not halted its offensive operations, he claimed.

“It does not make sense to end 20 years of war in one hour. In our perspective, it will be logical to discuss the main aspects of the problems and the war and then finalize a ceasefire so that the problem is resolved permanently,” Naeem Wardak told TOLOnews.
