According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, fourteen people were injured when a passenger bus collided with an oil tanker near ‘Gardi Jangal’ area of Noshki district.

Four among the injured were in critical condition.
Whereas, another oil tanker collided with a car near Mach town of Bolan district.

Road accidents are a common occurrence in Balochistan due to outdated roads. The national highways have not been upgraded for decades and the inadequate dual carriageways have also proved fatal for the increasing traffic.

A few days ago, Senator JahanZaib Jamaldini, in a meeting, discussed the surge in road accidents in Balochistan with the chairman of National Highway Authority, where he had put forward the issue of road mishaps, which cause hundreds of deaths annually on the roads across Balochistan.
