Cases of enforced disappearance continue to be reported across Balochistan, with three people allegedly forcibly disappeared from Quetta and Mastung, while one man from Quetta was recovered after six months.

According to sources, Safar Khan, son of Mohammad Hassan, was forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces from his home in Quetta at around 4:00 a.m. on 16 August 2026. Safar Khan works as a driver.

In another incident, 21-year-old Hafiz Jameel Ahmed, son of Chhata Khan, was reportedly detained and forcibly disappeared from his home in Huda, Manojan Road, Quetta, at around 2:30 a.m. on 9 September 2026. Hafiz Jameel Ahmed works as a trailer driver. According to his family, personnel from the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) were involved in his alleged enforced disappearance.

In another news, the BYC reported that 21-year-old Abdul Kareem, son of Ghulam Nabi, was allegedly forcibly disappeared from his home in the Kardegap area of Mastung at around 3:00 a.m. on 21 August 2026. The BYC reported the case in recent days. Abdul Karem was said to be a shopkeeper by profession.

Meanwhile, Saifullah, son of Attaullah and a resident of Killi Qambrani on Sariab Road, Quetta, who had allegedly been forcibly disappeared on 12 March 2026, was recovered from Huda Jail, Quetta, on 11 September 2026 after six months.
