Prominent Baloch leader and commander of Baloch Liberation Army, Aslam Baloch, has said that elements that want to make a business out of Afghanistan war are the real hurdles in Afghan unity and peace. He urged that the United States should investigate the ‘conspiracies’ behind murder of General Raziq.

According to details, BLA commander Aslam Baloch said in a tweet on Tuesday that ‘Elements that are hell-bent to harvest a business out of war in Afghanistan are the real hurdles in Afghan unity and peace.”

He further added: “Before jumping into conclusions regarding General Raziq’s tragic murder, a scientific investigation under direct US supervision should be conducted to root out such conspiracies from ever succeeding again”.

General Raziq’s murder has been strongly condemned by many Baloch leaders.

The last week’s attack in Kandahar killed General Abdul Raziq, the well-known police chief in Kandahar, and General Abdul Momin, the top intelligence official in the province. Kandahar’s governor Zalmai Wessa, US Army General Jeffery Smiley and others were wounded in the attack.

Taliban had claimed responsibility for the attack.
