At least 12 persons have been ‘abducted’ from different areas of Balochistan.
According to details received by The Balochistan Post, 12 persons have been abducted from Buleda and Kech districts of Balochistan.
As per some reports at least 11 people have been arrested and taken to undisclosed locations during recent raids launched by Pakistani forces in different areas of district Kech.
According to the locals, seven men have been abducted by Pakistani forces from Sor-Aap area of Buleda on Thursday.
The abductees have been identified as, Abdul Ghafoor, Waheed Baloch, Fazul Baloch, Murad Jan Baloch, Jameel Baloch s/o Dost Mohammed Baloch and Noora Baloch s/o Safar Baloch including his son.
Furthermore, four more persons were forcibly disappeared from Slo-Kaor area of Buleda in recent military operations.
Three out of four abductees have been identified as, Jaffar s/o Mohammed Anwer, Adeel s/o Nasir and Akeel s/o Ameer Bakhash.
Whereas, one more person has gone missing from Mand area of district Kech on Friday night.
“Forces raided the house late night in Daschain area of Mand and abducted a man named, Maola Bakhash s/o Kohda Abdulla” local sources said.
Sources from Mashkay told TBP that three persons who were abducted from Nokjo area of Mashkay five days ago by Pakistani forces have been released today and reached their homes.
Released persons are identified as, Mengal s/o Nabi Bakhash, Siraj s/o Abdul Sattar and Rashid s/o Rehmat.
Enforced disappearances that started in the early 2000s have never slowed down in Balochistan, in fact, dramatic surge has been observed in the number of people going missing with each coming year.
International campaign groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International also accuse Pakistani security forces as the culprits of ‘illegal abductions in Balochistan’.
