The Balochistan based armed group has said that fighters from their organisation were behind the attack on Pakistani forces in Panjgur that killed one and injured two.

Baloch Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for attack on a Pakistani outpost, which was carried last night in Purpaki, Gichk near Panjgur.

According to the details received by the Balochistan post, Baloch Liberation Army’s spokesperson, while talking with the media from an undisclosed location, claimed that they had attacked a military outpost near Panjgur. Jeehand Baloch claimed that their fighters killed at least one personnel and injured two others.

Jeehand Baloch further said that: “In retaliation Pakistan army indiscriminately fired mortar shells on the civil population, hurting several women and children”.

He vowed that such attacks against Pakistan army and its sub-ordinate forces will continue until Balochistan is a ‘free land’.

Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), another armed group, also claimed responsibility for a sniper attack, which they claimed killed a Pakistani personnel on 26th June. Goharam Baloch, the spokesman of the organisation, said that such attacks will continue against ‘occupying forces’.
