An 18-year-old student has reportedly been subjected to enforced disappearance in Turbat, while six individuals previously reported missing in different areas of Balochistan and Punjab have reportedly returned home or been released.

According to family members, Muslim, son of Sardo and a resident of the Absar area of Turbat, was allegedly detained by personnel believed to be from Pakistan’s intelligence agencies, including Military Intelligence (MI) and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), in the Josak area of Turbat at around 7pm on 7 July 2026.

Relatives said he was taken to an undisclosed location and that no information regarding his whereabouts has been received since.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that six individuals who had previously been reported as forcibly disappeared have been released.

In Taunsa Sharif, Dera Ghazi Khan district, Mubeen Baloch, son of Afzal Baloch, was reportedly released on 7 July after being taken into custody on 2 July.

In Panjgur, Zahid Baloch, son of Khuda Dost and a resident of Chitkan, reportedly returned home on 11 July after being missing since 10 June.

Three other residents of the Parom area of Panjgur — Aziz, son of Hassan; Fida, son of Tahir; and Adil, son of Abdul Rashid — were reportedly released on 10 July. According to relatives, they had been detained on 20 June, 10 June and 26 June respectively.

Separately, Khuda Bakhsh, son of Saleh Mohammad and a resident of Hajika in Surab district, was reportedly released from Surab Police Station on 8 July after being missing since 1 June.

Pakistani authorities have not publicly commented on the reported disappearance of Muslim or the circumstances surrounding the release of the six individuals.
