The body of a police officer who had been missing for three days was recovered near Airport Road in Balochistan’s Sibi district on Sunday, officials said.
The deceased was identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector Nihal Khan Abro, who was serving with the Kachhi Police.
Sources said Abro had left Dhadar for Sibi three days earlier, but contact with him was lost while he was travelling between the two areas after his mobile phone became unreachable.
Authorities stated that an investigation is under way to determine the cause of death and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
No further details have been released.
