Reports from Balochistan’s Kharan district state that Pakistani military forces have been conducting an operation in the Lijjay area since early this morning, with local sources alleging civilian injuries, enforced disappearance and damage to property.
According to residents, mortar shells were fired in the Shoap area of Lijjay during the operation, reportedly striking a residential area. Four people were said to have been seriously injured, including two women, a man, and a one-year-old child. They were identified by local sources as Bibi Zakira, Bibi Shafiqa, Hafiz Tahir, and Nadia. Residents also claimed that a house was damaged in the blast.

Sources stated that the injured were in critical condition, while movement restrictions caused by the security cordon had made it difficult to transport them to hospital.
Residents further reported that several parts of Lijjay had been surrounded by security forces, with quadcopters and drones seen operating overhead. They also alleged that mortar fire had continued from multiple directions.
No official statement has been issued regarding these claims.
Separate reports from the previous day alleged that military forces had launched a large-scale operation in the same area, during which drones and quadcopters were observed.
Local sources also claimed that members of a local militia, allegedly operating alongside Pakistani military forces, broke locks and looted 11 shops, taking cash and goods worth hundreds of thousands of rupees. It was further alleged that fuel was taken from a petrol station.

Those reportedly affected were named locally as Jafar Ahmed, Gulzar Ahmed, Tahir, Altaf, Sher Ahmed, Abdul Nabi, Hafiz Sulaiman, Hafiz Habib, Ghulam Nabi, and Daud.
In addition, residents alleged that a local doctor, Shah Jahan, was detained during the operation and taken to an undisclosed location, while his home was reportedly set on fire.
Authorities have not publicly commented on the operation or responded to the allegations at the time of reporting.
