A young man has allegedly been subjected to enforced disappearance after being taken into custody by Pakistani security personnel in the town of Gandawah, according to his family.

The incident was reported by relatives of Saeed Lashari, a resident of Jhal Magsi district, who stated that his son, Fahad Hussain Baloch, was detained on 21 April at approximately 2:00 pm. According to the family, personnel believed to be from the Frontier Corps (FC) and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), along with other law enforcement officials, took him into custody and transported him to an undisclosed location.

Family members allege that officials from the Frontier Constabulary Intelligence Unit, identified as the 151 Wing based in Gandawah, were involved in the operation. They further claimed that two unmarked civilian vehicles were used, including a black Toyota Surf.

According to the family’s account, Fahad Hussain Baloch was taken without the presentation of an arrest warrant or any formal legal documentation. They also alleged that other individuals present at the residence were subjected to harassment and intimidation during the operation.

Following the incident, the family attempted to register a First Information Report (FIR) at a local police station. However, they claim police officials advised them to return after 24 hours.

The family has expressed growing concern over Fahad Hussain Baloch’s whereabouts and safety. They have called on the authorities to ensure his immediate recovery and to present him before a court of law if any charges exist.

Officials have not yet publicly responded to the allegations.
