Two bodies have been recovered in the Panjgur district of Balochistan following reported incidents of enforced disappearance, according to a statement issued by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC).

In the statement, the organisation alleged that the incidents involved the abduction and subsequent killing of two young men by armed groups it claims are supported by the state, along with personnel from the Frontier Corps (FC).

According to the BYC, one of the victims was Yahya Baloch, a 17-year-old student and son of Fazal Karim. The group said he was taken from his home in the Khudabadan area of Panjgur on 3 March 2026 by armed individuals accompanied by FC personnel. The organisation claimed that no warrant was presented and that he was neither formally charged nor produced before a court.

The statement further alleged that his body was later found near an FC camp in Panjgur. The incident, the organisation said, has left his family in deep shock and grief.

The BYC also referred to another case involving Yahya Baloch, son of Noor Mohammad, a driver and resident of the Parom area of Panjgur. According to the group, he was reportedly taken by armed men from Airport Road in the Chitkan area of Panjgur on the evening of 1 October 2025.

The organisation stated that his family had waited for months for information about his whereabouts before his body was reportedly recovered from the Washbud area of Panjgur on 3 March 2026.

In its statement, the BYC said the incidents highlight what it described as an ongoing human rights crisis in Balochistan, citing continued reports of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings in the region.

Authorities have not yet commented on the incidents.
