The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) said four of its members were killed in a drone strike carried out by Pakistani forces on the group’s camp in Zamuran, Buleda, on the morning of January 8, 2026. The attack reportedly took place around 10 a.m., according to a statement released by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch.

The deceased members were identified as Hussain alias Kamal Baloch; Akbar alias Tahir Baloch; Waseem alias Mero Baloch; and Huzaifa alias Nodan Baloch. The group paid tribute to the four, describing them as “brave and dedicated comrades.”

Major Gwahram Baloch said Captain Hussain s/o Abdul Ghafoor, a resident of Gali Charmin Bazaar in Buleda, joined BLF on February 11, 2021. He served as the camp’s deputy commander and played a key role in leadership, overseeing camp discipline, training, and strategic planning of fronts. According to the statement, his guidance and dedication set an example for fellow members and strengthened the group’s mission. The BLF said Hussain’s death and role will continue to inspire courage, responsibility, and commitment among members and future generations.

Akbar s/o Yaqoob and, a resident of Minaz, Buleda, joined the group on March 13, 2025. The statement said he was active in civilian affairs within the camp and, despite joining only recently, set a model of bravery, dedication, and sincerity for his peers. His work across various fronts and responsibilities was described as exemplary.

The spokesperson said that Waseem s/o Rasul Bakhsh, a resident of Dasht, joined BLF on September 10, 2025. Before being transferred to the camp, he maintained contact with other members and was involved in logistics and resource management. The statement said Waseem’s courage, dedication, and willingness to learn made him a role model for other members, and his commitment and discipline on every front will be remembered.

The BLF said that Huzaifa s/o Noor Hamid, a resident of Mand, also joined the group on September 10, 2025. Before moving to the camp, he maintained contact with other members. The statement described him as hardworking and conscientious, setting an example through his dedication, courage, and eagerness to learn. His efforts to improve and excel in every task were highlighted as strengthening the BLF’s mission.

The spokesperson said the four killed were performing their duties as part of the defensive struggle for Balochistan. He added that their sacrifice demonstrates that oppression and violence cannot weaken the resolve of a people, and that actions by adversaries cannot diminish the awareness and resistance of the Baloch community.

BLF said it pays tribute to its fallen members and that their sacrifices will not be forgotten. The group stated that the blood, dedication, and commitment of the deceased will remain alive in the consciousness, courage, and struggle for freedom of the Baloch people. According to the statement, their example will inspire future generations with a message of courage and sacrifice.

The spokesperson emphasized that these sacrifices are a source of pride and a reminder that the path to freedom is not easy, requiring dedication, hard work, courage, and sincerity. BLF affirmed that it will continue to honor the memory of its martyrs and pursue their vision through ongoing struggle.
