Six members of the same family in Panjgur and another man in Kech have been allegedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistani armed forces, local sources said on Friday.
Sources in Bonistan Chongi Sar said five brothers and their uncle were detained during a late-night raid and taken to an undisclosed location. They were identified as Umeed Ali, Alam, Adil, Anas and Owais, along with their uncle Ashraf, son of Deen Muhammad.
Family members said they have received no information about the men since their detention.
In Kech, a man identified as Fazal, son of Mola Bakhsh, disappeared after a raid in the Gomazi area between Thursday and Friday. Local sources said Pakistani forces detained him during a late-night operation and did not disclose the reason for his arrest.
Human rights groups say enforced disappearances remain widespread in Balochistan, where families report detainees are held without charge and denied legal access.
Pakistan’s military and government deny the allegations and say security operations comply with the law.
Officials had not commented on either incident at the time of reporting.
