The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks on Pakistani military and naval installations in various parts of Balochistan, including Turbat, Malaar, and Nondara.

In a statement issued to the media, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said that on the night of 11 May at approximately 8:40 PM, BLF fighters launched an assault on a Pakistan Navy camp in Turbat, the main city of Kech district. The attack reportedly began with the targeting of security personnel stationed at a checkpoint outside the camp, resulting in the death of one soldier on the spot.

The spokesperson added that following the initial strike, BLF fighters fired several grenade launcher rounds at various targets inside the Navy camp from three directions, allegedly inflicting significant damage. During the operation, Pakistani naval forces deployed surveillance drones, which BLF fighters claim to have engaged with gunfire. Despite attempts by military reinforcements to encircle the attackers, the BLF stated that their fighters, trained in guerrilla warfare, managed to safely withdraw to secure locations.

In a second incident, the BLF claimed responsibility for an attack earlier the same day at around 6 PM, targeting a military checkpoint in Nondara Kach, near Jhaoo. According to the statement, BLF fighters used RPGs and other advanced weaponry during the assault. In retaliation, Pakistani forces reportedly shelled nearby civilian areas with mortar fire, causing fear and disruption among local residents.

The third attack allegedly took place in the Malaar area of Awaran district, where BLF snipers targeted a military post and claimed to have killed a soldier with precision fire.

The BLF stated that it accepts full responsibility for all three attacks and reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its armed resistance until what it describes as the “complete liberation of Balochistan” and the withdrawal of “occupying forces”.

The Pakistani military has not yet issued a formal statement on the incidents.
