Khair Muhammad Mardoi, a leader of the Balochistan National Party (Mengal), was injured in a shooting incident at Ferozabad Khisoon Charhai. He was being transported to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries on the way.
Police and Levies forces reached the scene and, after completing necessary procedures, handed over the body to the deceased’s family.
Authorities have stated that the reasons behind the incident are being investigated, and inquiries are ongoing.
It is worth noting that BNP (Mengal) leaders have been targeted in multiple incidents this year. Earlier in September, Agha Khalid Shah Jan, a member of the party’s Central Executive Committee, was killed in an attack in Quetta.
The BNP has accused certain elements of involvement in these incidents. However, authorities have not announced any arrests or significant progress in these cases.
