Last night, armed individuals targeted a Pakistani Navy camp with rocket launchers and other automatic weapons.

In Turbat, the central city of Balochistan’s Kech district, armed individuals launched a significant attack on the Navy camp located within the Turbat camp’s premises.

On Monday night, The Balochistan Post received reports from local sources that intense gunfire and explosions could be heard near Turbat Airport, and there were also reports of Pakistani forces moving through the city during this time.

Late at night, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a Baloch “pro-independence” armed group, claimed responsibility for the attack and published a video of the incident on their official Telegram channel, ‘Hakkal’.

In the video, several BLA members can be seen targeting the Navy camp with rockets and grenade launchers while patrolling on foot.

BLA fighters, carrying Balochistan’s flag, were also seen moving freely among the people in Turbat city.

Earlier, on the night of August 26, the main camp of Pakistani forces in Turbat city was also targeted with rocket and grenade launcher attacks. The video of that attack was also published on the BLA’s channel. Additionally, a video of BLA fighters setting up a blockade on the CPEC route near Turbat was also released.

It is important to note that on the nights of August 25 and 26, the Baloch Liberation Army announced the launch of “Operation Herof”. As part of this operation, the group blocked all major highways in Balochistan, searched vehicles, destroyed railway tracks, and bridges, and targeted the main camp of Pakistani forces in Bela with a suicide attack.

Multiple attacks were carried out at various locations under the BLA’s “Operation Herof. All highways connecting Balochistan to other provinces were closed for hours.

The Baloch Liberation Army, after 20 hours, announced the conclusion of their operation, claiming the deaths of 130 personnel, including Pakistani forces, intelligence agencies, and police, during the operation.
