At least five people died and eight were wounded in a series of incidents in different areas of Balochistan.
According to reports, in Balochistan’s Panjgur district, a school van collided with a cargo vehicle near Chitkan College Road which resulted injuring of six female students including the driver of the school van.
The injured were shifted to the Teaching Hospital, where they have not been given first aid for four hours. Two students and the driver are reportedly in critical condition were shifted to Karachi for further treatment.
In another incident, a high-speed pickup vehicle turned over heatedly in Shahrag tehsil of Balochistan’s Harnai district, due to which a man named Noor Muhammad son of Muhammad Shaheen died immediately on the spot. His dead body was moved to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem procedures.
Meanwhile, two residents of Punjab province, 40-year-old Ehsan Ahmad son of Muhammad Irfan, and 22-year-old Muzamil Ahmed son of Muhammad Akram, who were riding a motorcycle, lost their lives when a high-speed truck collided with their bike on Quetta-Karachi National Highway near Gadani area of Balochistan. After receiving the information about the incident, the Edhi rescue team reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to Jam Ghulam Qadir Government Hospital Hub.
Furthermore, unknown armed men opened fire and killed two people belonging to the Magsi community in Usta Muhammad.
Meanwhile, two people including a woman were injured as a result of firing during a domestic dispute near Pashtun-Abad police station in Quetta. The injured were immediately shifted to the hospital, and the police are investigating the incident.
