A measles outbreak has claimed the lives of two children and infected several others in tehsil Naal of Balochistan’s Khuzdar district.
The chairman of tehsil Naal, Haji Ahmad Nawaz Baloch, has urged the Naal health officials to control the measles outbreak as soon as possible. He said that the Balochistan health department has been very negligent in handling this outbreak. He said that the disease has spread rapidly in the area, and it will get out of control if not contained in time.
He appealed to the higher authorities of the Balochistan government to send a team of doctors to examine and control the outbreak, and provide immediate relief to the affected people.
