The National Highway Authority (NHA) has warned people of travelling on Quetta-Karachi Highway. The people of Karachi and Balochistan are asked not to travel on NA-25 and NA-50 highways due to suspension of road network caused by recent floods.

In a message to mobile phone users the NHA authority has requested people not to travel on NA-25 and 50. These highways pass through Bostan, Pishin, Kalat, Khuzdar, Yaru, Bela, Hub and Dilsora areas of Balochistan.

Balochistan is disconnected from Pakistan both via road and rail networks as floods drowned roads and railway tracks.

People are still stuck in Bolan district due to breakage of BiBi Nani bridge, connecting Quetta with Khuzdar and other districts of Balochistan.
