Balochistan National Party – Mengal (BNP-M) chief Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal has condemned the killing of the party member and said that a series of targeted killings has resumed.

On Monday, Sardar Akhtar Mengal took to the Twitter saying that once again targeted killings have started and BNP workers are being targeted.

He said that Saeed Ahmed Baloch, brother of BNP Central Labor Secretary Musa Baloch has been killed in Quetta which we strongly condemn.

Mengal’s comments come a day after when a member of BNP-M, Saeed Ahmed Baloch was gunned down in Balochistan’s capital Quetta by unknown assailants.

Saeed was the younger brother of BNP-M’s central labour secretary Musa Baloch. Asper the sources, Saeed was passing through the Qambrani road when armed men opened fire on him. BNP-M district president Ghulam Nabi Marri said Saeed received multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot.

The dead body of the BNP worker was shifted to civil hospital Quetta. A large number of BNP workers also reached the hospital after the incident. After the incident, the party workers blocked Sariab Road by burning tyres and putting barricades on it.
