Amir Baloch and Saddam Bangulzai were abducted two and three years ago respectively, whereas, Shehzad Qumbrani was abducted four years ago allegedly by Pakistan’s secret agencies

According to the TBP correspondent, families at the Baloch Missing Persons camp, finally, received good news in their 4-month-long sit-in when three Missing Persons were released today after remaining in secret detention centres for several years.

Amir Baloch was forcibly picked up by Pakistani forces during a raid at his house in Kharan city on 3rd February in 2017.

At the time of his abduction, he was enrolled in Poly-technique college of Quetta and had returned to his native town on the vacations in Kharan district.

Ansa Baloch, younger sister of Amir Baloch, and her mother were at the Voice For Baloch Missing Persons(VBMP) camp since four months and were in protest against the enforced disappearance of Amir Baloch and were demanding his safe return.

Amir Baloch was released today.
In another news, Saddam Bangulzai also reached at his home today after being abducted three years ago from Capital city Quetta.

Saddam’s family had staged a demonstration in front of Quetta Press Club when he was abducted on 5 August in 2015. His family had also joined VBMP’s camp for his safe release.

Moreover, Shahzad Qambrani, who was abducted four years ago, has also reached at his home.

In a tweet, VBMP’s Mama Qadeer Baloch said that they were happy on the release of Amir, Saddam and Shahzad Baloch, but they demand a proper mechanism regarding Baloch Missing Persons.

However, hundreds of Balochs remain missing after Pakistan’s adaption of enforced disappearances as a measure of counter-insurgency in Balochistan two decades ago.

Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have also accused and criticised Pakistan for the use of forcible abductions.
