The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released a video series through its official media channel, Hakkal, showing footage of coordinated attacks it claims were carried out in March across multiple areas of Balochistan.
The approximately 14-minute video includes scenes purportedly showing the destruction of a radar system, rocket fire directed at the Shamsi airbase, and attacks on military convoys in Jhal Magsi, Surab and Kardegap. It also shows alleged assaults on military camps in Dasht, Kadan and Mastung.
The footage further appears to show attacks on sites described as belonging to government-backed groups, often referred to locally as “death squads”, in Panjgur, as well as scenes claiming control of a mineral extraction site in Dalbandin. Additional clips depict weapons and equipment said to have been seized from Pakistani forces, along with damaged military vehicles.
In a detailed statement, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said the group’s fighters launched coordinated attacks against Pakistani law-enforcement forces across Balochistan on 29 March, which continued until 1 April. He claimed that a total of 65 attacks were carried out in areas including Panjgur, Shapuk, Basima, Sibi, Naseerabad, Dera Bugti, Mastung, Quetta, Noshki, Zamuran, Dasht, Surab, Jhal Magsi, Dalbandin, Kharan, Washuk and Kalat.
According to the statement, the attacks targeted military camps, airbases, radar systems, communication towers, railway tracks, bridges and gas pipelines. The spokesperson further claimed that highways were blocked for several hours during the operation.
The BLA stated that more than 86 personnel of Pakistani forces, affiliated groups and intelligence agencies were killed and dozens injured. It also said six of its fighters were killed in clashes in Panjgur and Zamuran.
