The missing individuals have been identified as Shoaib Ahmed, son of Muhammad Bakhsh Qambarani, a resident of Quetta; Saddam, son of Abdul Hadi, a resident of Kalat; Zubair, son of Khalil Ahmed, a resident of Kalat; Jawad, son of Abdul Rasheed, a resident of Kalat; Abdul Rahim, son of Barkat Ali, a resident of Minar, Bulaida; Asif, son of Chairman Islam, a resident of Minar, Bulaida; Yasir, son of Baloch, a resident of Minar, Bulaida; Ali Ahmed, son of Altaf, a resident of Minar, Bulaida; Rahim Bakhsh, son of Karim Bakhsh, a resident of Minar, Bulaida; and Safar Khan, son of Muhammad Ali, a resident of Quetta.

The issue of enforced disappearances has remained a major human rights concern in Balochistan for more than two decades. Nationalist groups and human rights activists have alleged that Pakistani security forces detain individuals and hold them incommunicado for extended periods. Human rights organizations have repeatedly expressed concern over enforced disappearances across Balochistan and have called for transparent investigations into such cases.
