At least five men have reportedly been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani security forces in a series of raids across Balochistan’s Kech and Gwadar districts.
According to local sources, a man identified as Sufian, son of Ghulam Rasool Sufi, was detained by security personnel in Turbat’s Singani Sar area on the afternoon of 2 July. He was taken into custody and transferred to an undisclosed location. His whereabouts remain unknown.
In a separate raid, another man named Muslim, son of Tariq, was allegedly taken from his home in the Malikabad area of Tump at around 1:30 am on 3 July. According to family members, the raid was carried out by a mix of uniformed and plainclothes personnel. His whereabouts also remains unknown.
Meanwhile, in Balochistan’s coastal city of Gwadar, two young brothers, Usama and Sadaqat, sons of Haji Ayub, were reportedly detained by Pakistani forces while they were inside a shop around 8 am on Saturday. Witnesses said the two were taken away in a vehicle, and since then, their whereabouts remain unknown.

In the Jiwani area of Gwadar, a man identified as Syed Mohammad Shaho was reportedly detained by security personnel several days ago, released briefly, and then forcibly disappeared again four days ago.
Enforced disappearances remain a pressing and long-standing issue in Balochistan, with numerous cases reported annually involving civilians allegedly detained without legal process.
