A protest will take place in Quetta on Sunday to mark 10 years since the enforced disappearance of Naseebullah Badini. The demonstration is scheduled for 3 PM outside Quetta Press Club, rights group Baloch Voice for Justice (BVJ) has announced.

The group said an online campaign would also be held on November 25, from 8 PM to midnight, on X (formerly Twitter) to highlight Badini’s case.

BVJ also highlighted plans for another online campaign on November 27 to mark 12 years since the disappearance of Abdul Rashid Langove. Langove was reportedly abducted from Jinnah Town, Quetta, in 2012. His family said they would launch the campaign on X to raise awareness about his case.

BVJ urged political activists, students, and members of the public to join the protest in Quetta and participate in the online campaigns. The group appealed to social media users to actively share information on both days to raise awareness about enforced disappearances.

In its statement, BVJ called on human rights organizations to intervene and ensure the recovery of both Badini and Langove. The group described enforced disappearances as “collective punishment,” emphasizing the ongoing suffering of affected families.
