Police arrested Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) leader Shireen Mazari from Islamabad on Saturday. Imaan Mazari, the daughter of Shireen Mazari claimed that policemen stormed inside our house and beat my mother.

“I was told that anti-corruption team Punjab officials arrested my mother”, Imaan Zainab Mazari confirmed. According to documents, Shireen Mazari has illegally occupied land.

Shireen Mazarai remained one of the central leaders of the PTI. She also remained federal minister for human rights in the former prime minister Imran Khan’s cabinet.

PTI leader Shehbaz Gill urged all party workers to reach Kohsar police station after the arrest of Shireen Mazari. “My mother has been forcefully disappeared”, Imaan Zainab said.
