The University of Balochistan Quetta has cancelled the recent PhD and M.Phil entry tests and decided to re-take them through NTS.

According to details, University of Balochistan officials said the entry tests for PhD and M.Phil/MS conducted on 1 and 2 November, 2020, has been cancelled.

Officials stated that the tests conducted in the university in which hundreds of candidates participated. However, most of the candidates could not pass while there were also reports of irregularities in the test in several departments.

Officials said that after these reports, the test results became dubious. While due to the failure of many candidates, the number of students needed to start classes did not meet the requirements in many departments as well.

Thus the university administration decided that the tests on November 1 and 2 and their results are canceled and tests will be re-taken through the National Testing Service (NTS) and the date of new tests will be announced soon.
