A police check post on the N-40 highway in Chagai district was destroyed in an attack by unidentified armed men late on Friday night, police sources said.
According to police sources, the attack targeted the Kochaki police check post, where three personnel were on duty at the time. All three remained unharmed.
The sources said the attackers planted explosives at the check post and destroyed it. They fled the scene after carrying out the attack.
No group has so far claimed responsibility.
