Five people from Punjab were abducted by armed men in Balochistan’s Killa Abdullah district on Monday night, police officials said.
According to police, five armed men riding motorcycles arrived in the Gardi Pinaki area of Gulistan tehsil and forced the group to accompany them.
Local sources identified those abducted as Inam Raza, Baqir Hussain, Mohammad Adnan, Mohammad Shehzad and Mohammad Azan, adding that all five were from Punjab’s Muzaffargarh district.
Police officials did not immediately provide details about the motive, the identity of the abductors or where the five had been taken.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the abduction.
