Two “pro-independence” Baloch armed groups issued separate statements on Tuesday claiming responsibility for attacks in Balochistan’s Kachhi district that targeted railway infrastructure and a government office, while officials said no casualties were reported.
The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) said it carried out an explosion near a railway station in the Haji Shahr area, adding that its fighters planted explosive devices on a railway track, causing damage.
In a separate statement, the United Baloch Army (UBA) said it carried out a grenade attack on the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Dhadar. The group claimed the blast caused damage to the building and injured personnel present, adding that it would continue similar attacks.
Local administration officials and police confirmed both incidents, stating that no casualties were reported.
