Pakistani military forces have demolished several buildings located near the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarters in the Qaziabad area of Noshki, a city in Balochistan, according to local sources.
Residents said that structures situated close to the intelligence facility were razed by the military. Authorities have also reportedly issued notices to residents of nearby houses, instructing them to vacate their homes within a specified period. The notices state that these houses will also be demolished after the deadline.
Local sources added that in recent days Pakistani forces have destroyed four houses in Noshki and surrounding areas using explosives and heavy machinery. The houses reportedly included the ancestral home of Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) leader Bashir Zeb Baloch as well as properties belonging to certain political figures. Similar incidents of houses being set on fire have also been reported in the districts of Gwadar and Kech.
Residents said that a curfew imposed in Noshki remains in effect from 6 p.m. onwards. According to locals, security officials warned residents that the curfew would remain in place until people organise a rally in support of the state and display Pakistani flags on their homes and shops.
The developments follow a series of coordinated attacks claimed by the Baloch Liberation Army on January 31 under what it called “Operation Herof.” The attacks reportedly took place across multiple cities in Balochistan, including Noshki.
According to statements released by the group at the time, BLA fighters briefly took control of parts of Noshki during the operation, which they said lasted for several days. The group also claimed responsibility for attacks targeting Pakistani military facilities and an ISI headquarters in the city. Authorities have not publicly confirmed the extent of these claims.
