Reports from different areas of Balochistan indicate that three individuals, including a lawyer, have allegedly been subjected to enforced disappearance in recent days.
According to relatives, Advocate Hanif Baloch was taken into custody on Tuesday from his home in Naag, Washuk district, by Pakistani law-enforcement agencies and moved to an undisclosed location. The family stated that they have not been provided with any information about his whereabouts, which they say has caused deep concern. Local social groups have condemned the incident and called for his safe recovery.
In a separate incident in Kech district’s Mand area, two men, identified as Nusrat Syed Muhammad of Koh Pusht and Alam Naseer, were reportedly detained by Pakistani forces on Monday night and transferred to an unknown location.
Authorities have not yet issued a statement regarding these incidents.
