A young factory worker committed suicide in the industrial city of Balochistan’s Hub Chowki, reportedly due to prolonged financial hardship.
The incident took place at the Bari Textile Factory, where the man was employed as a labourer. According to eyewitnesses, he took his own life by hanging himself on the factory premises.
Police reached the site shortly after being informed and handed over the body to the family following standard legal procedures.
Local residents and factory workers said the man had been struggling with severe economic difficulties for an extended period. They expressed sorrow over the incident and called on authorities to address the economic pressures facing young labourers.
Community leaders urged the government to create sustainable employment opportunities and improve working conditions in the region’s industrial zones to help prevent similar tragedies.
