A construction vehicle was targeted in an IED explosion in the Mashkay area of Awaran early Monday morning, local police said.
The incident took place between Kapur and Lakhi, where an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated near a dumper truck belonging to a construction company working on the M8 road project. The vehicle sustained damage, but no casualties were reported.
In a separate incident in Quetta, two individuals were injured in a hand grenade explosion near Customs on Karachi Road.
According to reports, unidentified assailants hurled a hand grenade at a barber shop, causing a loud explosion. The injured were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Security forces arrived at the scene shortly after the attack, cordoned off the area, and imposed blockades.
