A military operation in Balochistan’s Noshki district entered its second day on Wednesday.
Reports suggest that homes have been set on fire, and mortar shells have been fired in several areas. The operation is reportedly ongoing in Manjrho, Gorbrat, and regions near Lejay.
Local residents said the operation began on Tuesday morning in Dosay and surrounding mountainous areas. Witnesses reported heavy helicopter activity, including gunship helicopters, in the region.
Commandos were deployed to multiple locations using helicopters. Around ten military vehicles carrying personnel were also seen heading toward the area on Tuesday morning, according to local sources.
By Wednesday, the operation had expanded to other areas, with intensified military activity reported. Residents said mortar fire continued throughout the day, and several homes were set ablaze.
No casualties or arrests have been reported so far. Authorities have not issued any statements about the operation.
