Multiple military installations in Western (Iranian-administrated) Balochistan came under simultaneous attacks on Wednesday night, marking a significant escalation in the region. The responsibility for these attacks has been claimed by Jaish al-Adl, a militant group active in Western Balochistan.

Armed assailants targeted the headquarters of Iranian law-enforcement agencies, Colonel Kochezi Police Station, and Colonel Masrat Police Station in the coastal city of Chah-Bahar. Additionally, reports from Raask indicate another attack on the headquarters of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

The Iran-opposed organization, Jaish al-Adl, has warned civilians to avoid traveling on the roads of Raask, ChahBahar, and Sarbaz City following the attacks.

Confirming these attacks, Iranian state media reported assaults on military headquarters in Raask and ChahBahar.

Ali Reza Marhamati, the Deputy Governor of Sistan and Balochistan, stated that the situation is under control, with further details to be provided later.

Jaish al-Adl claims to have control over the arsenal of the district headquarters in Raask. Meanwhile, videos uploaded on social media by local residents depict intense firing and sounds of explosions.

According to Iranian media, so far, five members of the Iranian forces, including an IRGC officer, along with five armed attackers, have been reported killed.

Sounds of explosions and gunfire have been heard in the area from last night until this morning, with helicopters patrolling the airspace.

This escalation in attacks on military installations in Western Balochistan raises concerns about the security situation in the region. Authorities are expected to provide updates on the situation as it unfolds.
