Turbat’s educational institutions commemorated World Teachers’ Day with a series of events, paying tribute to educators and their crucial role in societal development.
At the Government Girls Degree College in Turbat, both staff and students came together in a show of appreciation. Classrooms were festively decorated, and a series of presentations including songs, poetry, and speeches celebrated the educators.
The teachers, touched by the gesture, encouraged the students to prioritize education and bring honor to themselves and the nation. The college principal, appreciating the students’ initiative, expressed hope for more such events in the future.
In a separate event, Delta School, Kech, hosted a ceremony emphasizing the societal impact of teachers. Murad Ismail Baloch, Director of Delta School Kech, remarked, “Teachers lay the foundation of developed societies. Their role is paramount, and it’s our collective duty to honor them.”
Students from various Delta School campuses presented tableaus and speeches, articulating their appreciation for their teachers. Notably, distinguished teachers received cash prizes, while others were honored with commemorative shields.
The event concluded with the cutting of a cake, marking the communal celebration of World Teachers’ Day.
