The bodies of two men were recovered from the Barshonki area of Kharan district on Monday and shifted to a hospital for identification, local sources said.
According to reports, the bodies were found dumped in the area after the men had allegedly been killed. They were identified as Sudees, son of Mohammad Karim, and Junaid, son of Noor Mohammad, both residents of Barshonki.
Local sources alleged that the two men were associated with a state-backed armed group commonly referred to as a “death squad”.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident. Further details regarding the circumstances of the killings have not yet emerged.
