A woman committed suicide along with her four children in Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan on Monday.

According to reports, a woman poisoned her four daughters aged between three to ten years old, and consumed the poison herself over domestic violence in Hazara town of Quetta.

The police confirmed the incident and said the rescue team shifted the corpses to the BMC hospital in Quetta.

The sources confirmed that the incident occurred due to family disputes and the police have arrested the aforementioned woman’s husband.

Earlier, Raja Mondrani’s son committed suicide allegedly due to domestic violence in the Sibi district of Balochistan on Sunday.

It’s noteworthy that Balochistan has witnessed a surge in the number of suicide cases in different districts of Balochistan in the last couple of months. However, the government authorities have not yet taken any serious measures against the rising cases of suicide.
